It was battle for the fittest at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Centre, Ikorodu on Monday as many residents thronged the centre for their various PVC demands.
As at 12:15pm when our correspondent visited the centre, a cluster of people could be seen huddled awaiting their names to be called by the INEC officials.
Some people were in the wait for online pre-registration, registration, collection of cards and transfer.

In a chat with a resident, Faith Agbo, he said that he had been in the centre since 9am, and his name on a third list, which he barely managed to make, was number one.
Agbo said he does not know when he would leave there but he is willing to spend the whole day there inasmuch as he gets his registration done.
“I have been here since 9am, and this is past 12 and we have not been attended to yet. The best thing for anyone coming here is to dedicate a full day to it as you can see the crowd.”
Some people who were there for their registration were seen complaining of the slow pace of the INEC officials.
They complained of how understaffed the INEC officials were to attend to the crowd around.
One of them said, “The crowd is too much for the number of INEC officials here. They also keep complaining of network connection too. These are some of the reasons we are having people waiting for hours upon hours when they should be going about their daily activities.”
