The leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imota Branch, has sensitized parents and guardians in secondary school on proper child upbringing.

It says that the key to addressing the security challenges in the community is dependent on how the children are raised.

“The sensitization exercise took a new dimension by involving parents and guardians of all the students in the public secondary school with a view of addressing some of the security challenges that have been affecting the peace of the entire community, engaging them on the need to focus more on their primary responsibilities in child upbringing towards achieving a violence-free society, and arresting all the societal ills that have been disturbing the socio-economic development and prosperity of the town.
