Builder Olusesan Daini, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, has taken a significant step in easing the burden of fuel subsidy removal on the community’s residents. In a recent move, Daini established a dedicated 7-member committee to oversee the Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA food bank initiative, aimed at providing relief for the next six months.
The committee, comprising committed individuals, will be responsible for distributing essential items to residents, ensuring a transparent and accountable process. Their focus is to ensure the administration’s genuine intentions are realized, with a well-planned distribution pattern targeting wards, socio-economic strata, and particularly vulnerable and underprivileged groups, while maintaining the integrity of the entire process.
The members of the committee include Mrs. Sonaike Toyin M. as Chairman, Mr. Abayomi Adelakun, Imam Hakeem Sanni, Mrs. Adekemi Okusanya, Mr. Adeyemi Benson, Pastor Babatunde Fashola, and Mr. Taiwo Oduntan as Secretary.
The food bank project seeks to alleviate the impact of fuel subsidy removal and offer assistance to those in need, ultimately making life easier for the people of the community.
