Babasola Babatomiwa has picked up the ticket to run for the Federal Constituency, Ikorodu on the platform of African Democratic Congress.
Babatomiwa scooped the ticket unopposed in a primary election held today at MM International Hotel, Sabo, Ikorodu.
Affirming the declaration was the Returning Officer, Comrade Ogun Babajide Adisa.
In his acceptance speech, Babatomiwa appreciated the party for the nomination, vowing that he won’t let them down.
He called on all party members to help mobilize and create awareness expedient to seeing ADC win the federal constituency seat.
“It is really a honour to be part of this great party. I say thank you. I am promising you that I will never fail. I’ll do my best to ensure I represent you well.
“And please, help mobilize. Anywhere you want me to be for awareness, I’ll be there because this time has to be different. This time is when we need to take what is truly ours and do the right things,” he said.
