The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali has visited the scene of the alleged illegal demolition of over 150 houses in Oke-Ira community, Ikorodu.
Oba Kasali pleaded with the victims to exercise patience, assuring them that he will do everything possible to see that justice is served.

It will be recalled on May 31st, there was a demolition of over 150 houses with over 500 persons rendered homeless at the Oke-Ira community.
The visit of the monarch is coming on the heels of the protest of victims at the Adeboruwa palace on Thursday.
Oba Kasali, however, pleaded with victims to be peaceful as he sees to it that justice is served.

“We have seen the extent of the destruction. I want to plead with us to be patient and peaceful.
“We are with you. It will not end here. Everything we need to do will be done. I know that there is a mischief in what has happened. But let us be patient and peaceful. And God will give us the wisdom on the steps to take.”
