Ijede, 3 May 2023 – In line with the healthcare agenda of the Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba administration, Ijede LCDA partnered with the non-governmental organization Hacey Health Initiative to host the inaugural edition of the End Malaria outreach program at the Primary Health Center in Oke-eletu, Ijede.
The program aimed to provide testing, screening, and examinations for pregnant and nursing mothers, with prescribed drugs and medications distributed free of charge. Participants also received counseling on the best protective measures against malaria, as well as insecticide-treated mosquito nets and malaria drugs.
Notable attendees at the event included Hon. Quadri Gbolahan, Supervisor for Health; Dr. Saheed Tajudeen, MOH; Mrs. Folashade Aderajo; and Mrs. Adekemi Hassan, the officer in charge of the Health Center.
