Ikorodu FC player gets National call-up

After impressive performances for Ikorodu City FC, Gabriel Adewala has been called up to the Nigeria National Under-20 team, the Flying Eagles.

It will be recalled that the defender scored the only goal from a long-range free kick at the weekend that saw Ikorodu City FC pick up a point away from Campos FC.

Adewala is labeled as a free kick specialist, and it is speculated that such strength, alongside his dazzling performances down the right flank of the OgaBoys defense, must have caught the eyes of the national team handlers to give him a call-up.

The Flying Eagles are preparing for the WAFU B qualifiers for the U20 AFCON to take place in the Niger Republic.
