It was the biggest win of the season for Ikorodu City FC yesterday as they thumped their opponent from Osun State 4-0 at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere.
It took only three minutes for the home side to break the ice with midfielder Oyedokun Tosin putting the Oga Boys in front early in the game.
17 minute afterwards, it was the turn of Abubakar Taheer to put his name on the scoresheet, making it two for Ikorodu City FC and two goals in two consecutive matches for him.

Making it a three-goal lead came in the second half as Issa Saheed in the 66th minute scored from a free-kick to ensure that the game became a tall order for Osun United to rally back.
Taheer then grabbed his brace for the day curling in a shot frrom a long range.
The team now sits third on the table, having played 18 games, securing seven wins, drawing six and losing five.
The team’s focus will now be shifted to their next game against Gateway United on Saturday as the season gradually comes to an end.
