As part of efforts to give back to the community, Better Tomorrow Football Academy is set to hold a football scouting program at Adamo, Ikorodu.
The program, which is tagged Giving Back to the Community: The Ikorodu North Football Talents Hunting Program, is open to the age bracket of 15 to 20 years.
In a chat with the team manager, Coach Abiola, also known as Bayern, said that the initiative was driven by his passion to support young footballers in the community and propagate the game of football.
He said, “I want to support and give opportunities to young footballers and also propagate the game of sports in this vicinity.
“By doing this, it’ll give them the opportunity and hope to achieve their dreams and become professional footballers.”
On what plans the initiative has for players that will be spotted, he explained that they have a partnership with some Nigeria Professional Football League clubs and foreign academies where these footballers will be connected to.
Bayern said the programme is free of any registration fee, and that players interested only need to come to the pitch and display their skills.
The program will be held for three days: Thursday May 12th, Saturday May 14th, and Sunday May 15th, at the TPS Arena Bus-Stop.
